DISCOVERING JESUS

What you need to know.

  • There is life after death.

  • All will stand before God.

  • Sin must be judged.

  • We aren’t ‘good’ enough.

  • God sent help.

  • Jesus gives us life.

  • You must repent and trust in Jesus Christ.

‘’For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.’’ Romans 3:23

No matter how ‘good’ we try to live, sin still rules and reigns in our bodies. It separates us from the Holy just God. Sin comes at a cost - “ For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23a and that death is eternal separation from God, in hell. Our good deeds are not enough to cover the sinfulness of our own hearts.

There is hope and good news!

“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23b

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,” 1 Peter 3:18

We must first realize our sinful state and repent (turn) from our sin, and believe on Jesus Christ as our Saviour.

Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh, He lived a sinless, perfect life, and gave His life freely for us on the cross, taking the punishment we deserved. He loves you! More than our human minds can grasp. With His death, He paid our sin debt, and after three days He gloriously rose from the dead.

“But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!” Romans 5:8

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” Acts 16:31a

Today is the day of salvation, please don’t wait. Once we die it is too late. There will be no bartering to enter heaven, we must be escorted in by the Savior, belief in Jesus by faith now, while there is still breath in our lungs is the only way.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

Salvation is not difficult.

  • Confess that you are a sinner in need of a Savior

  • Accept that Jesus Christ’s death was in your place.

  • Trust in Him alone for your forgiveness.

  • Pray and confess (sincerely) to the Lord.

Come to Christ today!
